Comment by BrianQ. on November 5, 2023 at 8:46am: Thanx Doug, I actually added 2 filter resistors at the end to quell potential hiss & keep the level of impedance up with so the pickup won’t get loaded down with hollow mud? The original circuit is actually THE easiest dirt pedal you can build, 4 easily sourced parts:( a transistor, a diode & 2 capacitors) a little wire & 2 jacks. No wonder it’s most new builder’s 1st build!
