This is really nice. Last year i bought a lap steel from Ebay for £26. It turned out to have been hand made at least 50 years ago. It was found in the loft and the owners of the house had been there at least 50 years and had never seen it before. I'll upload some pics.

LOL Yes it goes where the first fret is. I just had it sitting there for a photo I am making a different nut for it.

Whats going on with the dots ?? was the nut originally intended to be where the first 'fret' is?
