Lap Slide

Still really rough. Maple and glazed cearmic. Only thing I'm worried about in the test run is the weight. It's VERY light. Sounds good, but just feels a little too light.

Comment by David Ford on November 10, 2011 at 5:51am: I would assume you'd be looking for a very snug fit with the lead weights. Otherwise you might get some sort of rattle that will transmit to the strings.

Comment by Randy S. Bretz on November 8, 2011 at 7:38am: Yeah there`s some hefty fishin weights to try, if it doesn`t fit in the hole lead is soft enough to take some off the side and fit it in.

Comment by Randy S. Bretz on November 8, 2011 at 7:15am: try drilling a hole in the end and filling it with lead fishing weights to heavy it up. Just plug up the hole when you get a weight your comfortable with.
