I opened her up to install a peiso. Wired and tested it and it worked fine. When i installed it it didn't work. Resoldered every connection. Still no go. I'll try again another day with fresh ingredients.

I've had the least trouble with those buzzer peisos. This one is still testing ok on the multimeter. I've got a Gitty jack and a 250 pot. I'm going to rebuild tomorrow with fresh ingredients. I might go to a 3 string Elmar flatpup I have on hand. :^)

That is frustrating.  Happens to me.  Look folks that black circle looks to be a good old door bell buzzer for a piezo.   Not too many years back that is what folks used.
