Hearing your story Bones made me tear up and Smile at the same time! Sorry for your loss and sooo glad you got those wonderful memories with him! And Dave is a super talented nice guy, as are you my my friend!!!! I also will get tons of enjoyment playing music with my dad we have always been close!! That brings a big smile to my face mate Dave is a great guy , my Parlour guitar I built for him has got some very speacial senterment with it , before I sent it to Dave my Father had just passed away in his sleep for the few months we had him home I played that Parlour to him with a few old Irish ditties he loved it made him smile and tap his finger on the table I could see the music was helping my Father go to his resting place . I played my Father to his grave with at the request of my very large Irish family .Oh Danny Boy never sounded so sad . May you and your Father play for many years and bond over the sounds you will make .

Thanks Bones!!! Built it for my dad he's trying to learn some slide and  he like the old Dutch master box I got with an order of the famous Dave Lynas slides :) sounds great and he loved it!! You said it right it's all about the FUN!! Music is so good for the Soul
