Hubcap Rat Rod ~ Video later ~ What song should be done on this git?

Mercury Hubcap Build ~ hubcap gifted to me by JP Swenson. GDG tuned.

Sounds good acoustic (sound holes in back) and very good plugged. Does not sound 'metallic' to me.

Video in a few days.

Well, the Merc logo came with the special edition Hot Wheels car.  Which I 'rat rodded' to go w the rat rod guitar.

I thought long about trying to make every thing shiny/fancy/new.  But what I did suits me better.

60s sounds right to me.  What is the Merc logo from?

Thanks,  Owl, John Maw and Squid.  My guess on the hubcap is circa 1960s.

Thanks Uncle John, I was just wondering the composition. For some reason I envisioned two hubcaps together like some 50's flying saucer. I think the back looks great. Thanks for the pic.
