This is my "Detroit" 4-string build that I just finished. Wood is dyed blue with Detroit Old English "D" with darker blue flames on the face. Two .45 cal casings above and below the bridge. Detroit City skyline down the maple neck and fretboard. Aluminum nut and sealed tuners. Tele style control plate with a blade bucker pickup. Strat style bridge system. Diamond plate output jack. On the back there is a diamond plate Superman logo. Chrome corner guards all around. White pearloid pickup ring. And of course a beer opener so you can use the bottle when you can't find your slide. #ScratchGuitars

Thanks for the compliment btw. Its nice to get positive feedback from my peers. "CBG" guys all seem to have a mutual level of respect for each other's efforts. It a good crowd to share your work with. A big thumbs up to all of you!

Well played eh, we'll played! Lol :-) No need to be soory aboot that. Makes me think I should have gone to a gift shop and bought a miniature bridge to use as the bridge.

That would have been cool! It was a custom job for a co-worker of mine. He has a dollar sign tattoo and a superman logo tat on his back. We were trying to find ways to incorporate some of those things to make it "his". His last name is Rich. So it has his last name on the first 4 frets. Its pretty dark down there so it's hard to see with black lettering. But yeah, Windsor would have been logically cool!

nice  ..    woulda  been  even  cooler   with  Windsor     on  the  back  ;-)

Thanks Uncle John! It was a fun build. Learned a lot from my mistakes on this one but it turned out in the end.
