Agreed . . . I tried to play this one last night with the slide . . . you have to have the touch of a breath upon the strings with the slide to get it to play cleanly.  Tried my CB gitty brass slide, my thick pyrex glass slide, and my 2" steel slide on it - it is way too sensitive with the action set this way to be able to comfortably learn how to play the slide on. . .  Just for my own experimentation and experience, when I can get a 50 cents piece, I am going to measure it's thickness and use it to set the string action on one of my current CBG's to see how you have set up your string height on the one you play (you had mentioned earlier that you like your 12th fret string action set at 50 cents) . . .

Yup.   Good method.   I have one that needs lowered to play EEB tuning with finger chords.   Like this would be good.   But if I am playing a combination of finger chords and slide,  I need it higher so as not to get so much fret buzz.
