"Thanks James O", Yep!, I do build a lot of Gits, some would say too many!, I keep telling myself to cut back a bit, but why stop doing something that you enjoy, just love building Gits in my work shed away from the rest of the world and always with some music playing.

I guess we'll have to wait for a while to hear "Big Red", but I'm sure it will be a "Goodun"

Cool I use them on the top to stop the string cutting the timber at the local shop I get 12 ferrules for $4.75 so I'm happy to use them ,.

A quick note on the Ferrules Bones, I used to use (and still do sometimes) Pop Rivets, but the ones on this build are "100pcsc Furniture M3 Rivet Nut Flat Head Insert Nutserts" purchased on Ebay for $5.09, which equates to abt 5 cents each   :-)

I understand mate I have only used the through neck way I like the tone of the timber and using ferrils really transfers the vibrations nicely ,I'll try the other way soon but I enjoy the learning curve indeed .

"Thanks Bones", don't use the "Old School" Neck right through the box very often these days, despite being a bit of a nuisance if you have to open the box for whatever reason, it does have its advantages when you need a bit of distance and angle between the Tailpiece and the Bridge when placed at the rear of the box, in order not to cover any of the artwork etc  :-)

"Thanks Dave", I'm extremely happy with the Look, Sound and Playability of this one, I think it's destined to be the main Player I reach for   :-)
