First Build

my first diddley bow made with a broken broomstick i found outside.
Took 2 hours to build since i don't have many tools plus i had a small injury building it.

Materials:
Broken Broomstick
broken canvas frame
1 guitar string ( duh)
Ice Cappucino Can
tape
sticker ( doesn't help much)

This is before i painted it...i'll upload that laere

Comment by Michael Gajeski on February 9, 2010 at 1:34pm: lol. cbg's aren't meant to be perfect anyway. there are calculators online that you can use for your next one. i like wfret, personally, since it lets you print out a template.

Comment by DiddleyDragon on February 9, 2010 at 12:16pm: yah thats the sticker...i looked everywhere on how to measure the fret marks but to no avail so i just gave up and made the sticker. So its become a decoration more than a fret board. Not knowing is kind of the fun part of playing it :)

Comment by Michael Gajeski on February 9, 2010 at 12:10pm: The scale doesn't look right for your fret markers (Is that the sticker that doesn't help much?). The 12th fret should split the scale in half which it looks like it falls short of that halfway mark.
