Thanks, Mike.  That'd be great.  Don't get many gourds here in South Florida.

Hey Hal. I'm sorry to say that I have only a limited number of gourds and this year do far all of my crop died while I was away at summer art classes.(nobody watered and weeded) so looks like a shitty year for
My crop. I'm gonna try to start some more but it's quite late. Let's see how this year turns out and maybe in the fall we can do something. It's hard to get finished cured gourds. There are so many ways that they get screwed up and I usually lose around 25% to rot, blight and other things. I'll keep you guys posted if I ever have any for
Sale.

Thanks Hal. I'm excited to make some even nicer ones now that I have some of my techniques down. One of the next things will be making my own pigment from certain roots and woods to use as dyes or paints. The gourd is from my garden and I built trellises to make sure the
Necks grew nice and straight for making ukes. I also let them mold in order to achieve beautiful knot like staining of the Hurd. I'll be posting more build pics soon for the next one. And this is for sale by the way. Mike g

Mike, that is just an amazing job!  Love the organic flow of the bridge, too. Where did you get the gourd with such a straight neck stem?
