Getting there, another ritz casino box, this one had a really pale horrible top, i got carried away & veneered it with some burr walnut, bit more polish to go, she is going to Boxstock!

The string anchors are 5/16" brass tube set into holes bored at an acute angle, (similar to a pocket hole joinery jig) & glued in with epoxy & small bush fitted right in the tail end. Then all filed flush.
