Hello,
I get a "duh" on this one. We were looking a different pix. I thought you were talking about my CBG Spam project.
The guitar you're commenting on is/was a yard sale special (3 guitars for 10.00) that was used for this experiment. You're right it is a ringer for the one you found, thanks for the follow up.
This one had days and days and days of work but with so many little mistake it became obvious it had been a valuable learning tool (mostly what not to do) but would never be "right". It has since been re-kitted to components and I'll start another from scratch. The idea is still worth exploring but this poor orphan was too beat up to start with to bail out. I'll look forward to seeing your's once it's happening.
The sound well will be my challenge with this, your thoughts on soundwells would be welcomed.

I've never heard of the outfit you refer to, this monster is frankenspammed up from leftover parts (to meet the deadline) and an idea for a license plate resonator I got from youtube.
The maker is now on CBGnation but I don't have his name on hand, he's made a good sounding instrument.
If you have a URL for the box you're referring to I'd like to see it.

That looks suspiciously like one of those Natural Spruce Acoustic Guitars advertised on Amazon for $ 31.00, I like where you're going with it.

I've got one of the Dark Cherry models setting in the shop waiting to be modified someday.
