Yes uncle, it’s a bebop jazz machine. I went through a whole pack of strings- D,G,B strings sounded good for slide, but I had it in my head that I wanted a low resonant sound . The E & A strings had an unsavory tension, so I had an idea to try a low tension nylon string.

Hunh!   A lower D tuning and it sounds like an upright bass.  That could be handy in the right hands.
