Wow, Derek.  That is something to love and be proud of.   Amazing, especially the tapered neck.

Thanks Jerry. The scale length is 23 1/2" long, reduces string tension and I like the looks of the shorter neck to box. The neck is 2 pieces of oak mirrored side-to-side and an oak fingerboard improves resistance to bending. Plus the usual wood added for the heel / box interior to make up for the thinner section inside.
