youve convinced me .i did think about it after i posted.I been planning on making some using the black keys off an old harmonium we found mouldering in a shed in the woods .

they won't be as pretty as those tho', Do you make the ply yourself? if not what is its intended use?

Jabes you can do it! Yeah it's harder but if you can set the angle on your neck to match the bridge you can get plenty close enuff to sand that bone saddle down and get it perfect.

i am a little puzzled by these piezo rod bridges,surely this means one must build the guitar to suit the bridge perfectly spot on ....??

 i wouldn't find that very easy
