Tim, thank you. picked up this old "night watchmen's" clock at a flea market. going to convert it, but can't get it open. stopped in at a clock repair shop, they also couldn't open it.

thanks folks. Paul, I agree, small speakers are a compromise. but with small cases one doesn't have a choice. with 2 watts and low volume they sound pretty good. practice amps.
