I got a bit more done on it today - almost at work stoppage again. Gotta order the lead screws, lead nuts, couplers, and electronics. That'll have to wait until payday though...

Thanks very much, guys. I can't take credit for the design - that credit goes to Dave Gatton. He's a member here, but isn't very active. He did a series of videos on his YouTube channel titled Build a CNC Router on a Shoestring Budget. Toward the end of the series, he tells how to get free plans.
