She plays really well and will be better when I change the bridge. I got the profile a bit wrong on the one that is fitted and the action is a tad high. This means she's great for double stops but a bit naff for regular playing. I was amazed that the acoustic sound is as good as a cheap 'Chinese type' violin.
With the electrics connected up the fiddle sounds as good as any other fiddle that I've heard with such a cheap pick up. The result of all that wood to hold it all together and the electrics is that the instrument is a bit heavier than a regular acoustic violin but I'm happy to put up with that.
I shall be attempting to put a sound clip, or indeed a whole tune on my page when the ordered bridge arrives and is fitted onto the fiddle.
