Dad tried to talk his way out of my planned guitar build to both me and my brother when we talked to him on the phone before flying down, so I had my doubts Glenn. But as you well know, music is a powerful thing and Dad responded to it. My daughter took some video and my brother is planning to put something together that goes beyond my skill set. I’m looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

That would have been a good one BrianQ! I kept it to simple 2 and 3 chord ones I knew he would know: Singing in the Rain, Tom Dooley, Oakie from Muskogee, and Folsom Prison Blues.

Thanks Glenn! I have been looking forward to this. One of my Dad’s favorite movies is Casa Blanca, so when I found the Casa Blanca box, I knew who was getting it.
