Yer, might be too much black if the box was that colour also.

The yellow of the body looks good against the black.
I notice in one of the other pics, that the decorative trim has peeled off on the bottom part.

Perhaps just clean that up with a black border all around (painted ?), then the silver corner protectors would top it off nicely.

Either way, it's a great lookin first build !

Thank you! I was planning to make the cigar box black also, but kinda like the look of it now though. It would look good black though with the silver volume knob... Maybe adding metal box corners. Well, I have to think about it :)

The all black neck and headstock, with the black tuners, looks very effective against the silver of the other pieces.

It works well.
1st build for you also..........darn good job !
