Premium Parlor Sized Cigar Box Guitar 6 string with Pickup.

This is a USA hand made 6 string guitar made from a collectible, numbered 1254/2000 Camacho Liberty cigar box.
I build these myself in Western Colorado. It is signed with my stage name: "Z.B. Blue".
Yes, Ive been a professional player for 45 years. Im also a goldsmith and a good cook.

This is a professional level instrument, built for action!

The box is a collectible Camacho Liberty box numbered 1254/2000, of aromatic cedar type wood,
The neck I hand carved of hard maple. I hand carved each brace, the neck and tail block, and the headstock.

It has an adjustable single action truss rod, brass nut, saddle, and bridge pins, Gotoh tuners, carrying handle, and a K&K piezo Big Spot pickup mounted under the soundboard. Over $200 in parts alone.

I have developed this style of build over the last 15 years to improve sound quality over the traditional build style.

Traditional Delta style cigar box guitars are typically 3 or 4 string, amateur efforts made with found parts and minimal skill. They typically run the neck board all the way thru to the tail, with the soundboard glued on tightly, thus eliminating acoustic vibration and sound quality.
I have improved the acoustics to a professional level.

For my guitars, I use a rabbeted neck block to anchor the neck and transfer vibration. I use a Martin based X-bracing, trimmed and tuned, freeing up the soundboard to resonate as freely as a standard guitar. The box side profile is tapered to prevent buildup of standing waves. The sound hole is smallish, allowing for development of bass waves. Neck profile on this one similar to a Gibson.

The large box is comparable in size to a Martin Size 5 parlor guitar, and the sound quality is comparable.

I did a Gig-Test last week performing at a Animal Rescue fund raiser for a few hours. The guitar performed flawlessly, with great sound!
It plays clean and easy, and it can access dirty notes unavailable on a standard built guitar.
Great for gutsy numbers, sweet for the sweet numbers. This great sound will improve with playing time as the hours and years settle the wood fibers.

If youve been thinking about a Cigar Box Guitar this is one of the best available, IMHO.

This is a Blues and Folk-Rock Monster! Bring some vintage soul, sound and style into your act with this Premium Built Axe!

Finished with a Genuine New Orleans Coffin Nail in the heel for Extra Mojo!
