Cheers Gary. I wanted it as simple as possible. No cutting, no finishing, not even measuring. I used a drill and screwdriver. All by eye no measuring anything. Built it in 45 Minutes (stopped for a tea break!). You can see a video of it here on CBGNation. The wood´s not even entirely dried out yet so I expect it to crack and shrink a bit more.

OK.  I still like it.  Thanks for the response.  Love the driftwood and it looks like you didn't screw it up by changing it.

Hi Gary. No its a two string Guitar. Tuned G and D.  Scale length of 26" was determined by the driftwood that I found. I have made a tin can bass previously but used a reclaimed neck. Planning a two string bass soon though as I have a few nice old bass pickups I want to use !!

I really like it.  Totally unique.  Is it a 30" scale?  Bass strings?  Is it ok to use regular git tuners on a bass?

I will soon be building a 2 string bass chugger.  Mine will be a little more on the traditional CBG style.
