I bought this C. B. Gitty on Amazon about 2 weeks ago and love it! As a kid I played drums and that was about the extent of my musical ability. I am having a blast learning how to play this thing and I have some materials around that now make me want to think about building one as well.

The teaching video that helped me the most was knotlenny's CBG 101, which you can find at page top under resources and how to play.   Building a fretess 1-2 or 3 string is doable for most.  Good wishes.

Thank you. It is a pleasure meeting you. After buying the one I have and looking at everything here I definitely am looking forward to building one.

Very cool.  Have fun.  Maybe get a Gitty kit next and make your own.  Or just do it with what  you have on hand.  Welcome to a great hobby.
