This was created by a very good friend of mine and really captures the feel of what I'm trying to create. The old school blues, The Delta Blues, The Acoustic Blues, The raw emotion of it all.

I agree. I'll bet Pick would do it justice. Adaptation is his strong suit. This would look terrific on a witch.

I think this would look great on a 'witch :)

He likes different music than me but he is into some Beatles and Classic Rock stuff. I'm pretty sure he would pick up on some instrument, anything is better than those damn video games haha!! My two older brothers play guitar but one like Country and the other likes Punk rock. I am a Blues/Classic Rock guy who likes Jazz and some Country/Bluegrass stuff sprinkled into the mix. So yeah we're a weird family but at least a musical one.

Lay a bass on him and see if it takes. I"ll bet he'll love it. My oldest grand boy made his own 2 string bass with dad's help. It playes real nice. It's just a poplar 2x4 all sanded and shaped.

Boy do they! At least he's got good taste. A tele is a great guitar for youngsters. I'm trying to get my nephew to start playing something with the hopes I can jam with him. I'm thinking he might make a good bassist but I won't force it on him. Gotta let the kids choose for themselves.

Ya, i've got a grand, Isaiah who was drawn to music as a little tot. He just got into it all his own. When he'd visit he'd dance like crazy when i'd play and was after every instrument i had laying around (lots of them). I started him with a uke and then a baritone uke, then several guitars. Now he's got a tele that i brought back to life and loves it. He can jam. His older brother plays bass and slide and dad plays a variety of guitars. He and his wife are in the church band and he teaches guitar to sunday school boys. It's the kids that get the good stuff... :^)

I used to have a lot of gear but I'm starting to sell some guitars so I can get the one or two pieces of gear that I'm really wanting and that would really make BCD sound authentic. The old style blues is close to my heart and I am very passionate about all things blues. I still have cbg projects to do and will eventually get around to them but for now I am having way too much fun with BCD and creating great songs and covering some of my favorites. Passing things you love onto your kids/grandkids is crucial, We need to keep our love of all things musical going onto future generations.
