Thanks JD. These pans can be had for a $1 or less! They are also a little larger than a typical cigar box which allows a little more length on the body of the guitar and in my opinion makes a more balanced instrument

Wade, that is a near ten in several categories, good looks, funkiness, old time cool, and player.
Wonderful. I have a pot lid build started that I hope will be about 80% as cool. The tailpiece shape is great, but a possible small down grade for the way the screw mounts it. And at the same time, the way it mounts fits it well.
