I will post pictures of it finished soon. The head is Deer skin and it's made of Black Walnut. I don't have a lathe either but I have routers and a router table that get the job done. Thanks for the comments.

I just finished a tackhead banjo (w/goatskin head from Stew-Mac), my first actual ROUND banjo after dozens of cigar box banjos. For the longest time, I just couldn't get over the psychological hump of making a simple rim without a lathe, but I finally got it. Is yours mahogany? Very pretty! In fact, ALL your instruments are dang nice looking!
