I understand how to do coil splits on a humbucker, but how exactly are you splitting the coils to have low strings and high strings separated when the coils run under all the strings?

Only way I know to achieve this is to split the coils in each humbucker and remove poles under some of the strings. Is this the way you did it? Good idea and a good way to even out the tone.

I've seen this easily accomplished with Fender 3 pole pickups like the split ones used on 12 string guitars. They just separate the the pickups and wire to separate pots and stereo jack.

I was told that building a guitar like this was impossible. But I persisted. This baritone has 2 five way switches and 3 humbuckers. Each humbucker has 5 output wires and is split in half electrically. The high strings, 1-3, are routed toma regular guitar amp. The low strings, 4-6, go to a bass amp. The stereo output jack sends the signal through a stereo output guitar cord to a splitter box. From the box, 2 cords go to a bass amp and a guitar amp, The stereo sound is amazing!

There are 24 different sounds that vqn be made by this baritone guitar - without any effects boxes. With 2 five way switches, many sonic adventures are easy to attain

On other electric guitars that I have played, the tone control knobs were kind of useless, so I only installed 2 volume controls and eliminated the tone knobs. For setting the tone, I  just adjust the amp.

My baritone guitar features B to B tuning. (Instead of string 1 and 6 being an E, it is down three steps to B to B, This tuning makes it easy for a guy to sing and play guitar!
