My first try at a CBG neck,
One piece poplar stock, 25.5" scale, 4 inch scarf cut neck, Purple heart fret-less finger board with Rock maple fret Markers.

I am pleased so far, its not perfect but I am certain it will come out nice enough.

I am heading to the scroll saw and router this afternoon to rough shape the headstock and trim finger board edges and radius the back of the neck.

I will then start with the first sanding and after that start cutting the channels for the Rock maple fret markers.

I have not decided if I want to bind the fretboard in maple or not.

That will require a precise 1/8 routing on the periphery of the board and I am not sure about wanting to do it or not... If I do it will provide a bright white binding with the bright white frets, amplifying the Purple heart finger board... All while remaining a fret-less design.

Oh well, first things first!
