Amp for me!

Finally got round to finishing my amp.
Made with an MA3S amp harness from guitarfuel.com like the last one that I made for Delvero, so it
sounds pretty similar to that.
For specs of the amp harness go here:

mmm I hate throwing stuff out...as soon as you get rid of things you think of something you could have done with it!!

good to salvage the cloth if you can, it's bloody expensive to buy!!...sounds like your an expert salvager though,lol!...pizza pan, air fresher leds!! Do you find you look at everything differently now..wondering how you can use things??

Looks like your well on the way with collecting bits for your bass too : -)

i got some cloth from an old sears and robuck silvertone organ . i used it on the bass amp for the ports , and i garbage picked a bathroom air freshner that had 3 color changey led's . i mounted that behind the center port for the psycadelic light show , in the bass amp . really silly , but it has a switch so . . . depending on the mood . i took that unit to a jam session and got tons of compliments .people really appreciate homemade amps ! not much too em really but , , ,

i used an old pizza pan for the bass speaker grille . it came out of the same dumpster as the cabinet  , an end table thing i modified . i just shot it with some flat black , no-one ever figures it out, but thats my favorite " feature" of the amp !

i may go with a neck i got on a junker bass , but it is a BC Rich , like a warlock , or a jackal , something evil . the head stock is all pointy ! very demonic in a silly sense . this bass may end up looking pretty goofy . unless i make a facia , i wonder if that could work .  something about pointy guitars . it has a pick up and 3 tuners , i got this large heavy wooden box , like a mini crate with a slidey lid . . . this spring .

Hi, it's just 3 watts. I used the MA3S amp harness from guitarfuel http://www.guitarfuel.com/MA3S_Amp_Harness.php   made it very easy, nothing like what you've done, VERY IMPRESSIVE!!

The cloth (and the knobs) were from an old radio that was in the garage. The strap is made from the cheek straps of an old bridle (99p from eBay)

Oooh a bass....mmm from what I've read on here I think a truss rod sounds like a good idea. Good luck with it : -)

reminds me of a pignose . how many watts ? i like the looks , it seems old timey . where did you get the grill cloth ? i wanna make a higher power one sometime , i did make 2 already , buy they are kinda funky . i had a ball making the metal amp !

just the idea that they both have built in fx gets me grinnin . i only have 2 fingers to play so i need help ! the one has chorus and long delay , the metal amp has metal distortion , flanger and univibe . i am really proud of that one , it took a month , what a hassle , nothing wet well (power supply issues , and grounding , the original fx chassis was plastic !) . but it sounds great and she still works ! i also made a battery powered bass amp for my wife . next i wanna make a wine box 2 string bass , maybe 3 for her but , , , that sounds tricky , truss rod ?
