1st License Plate Guitar Build - 4-String

This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for a client's son. She hasn't bought it yet, but promised to do so.

Her son was in the Navy and plays acoustic. She wanted a Navy-Themed acoustic build. I couldn't find any Navy-themed Cigar Boxes, so I thought of this. I built the box deeper so that it would have better acoustics, and the screw holes for the plate were left pen to act as the soundholes (didn't want to cut the plate any more than I had to).

Action is low, comparable between my 6-string Acoustic and my (Frankensteined) Squire Electric. This turned out to be one of the best fretted guitars I have made so far.

Here's to topping this one in 2016!
