"003" Double Box Resonator Banjo

"003" Double Box Resonator Banjo

"003" I built this banjo to replicate a typical resonator style banjo using an old open top Winchester Twist chew box as the sound well and an older cedar Grand Dutches box with the bottom removed for sound projection into the winchester box. Tapered poplar neck, Oak fret board. Acrylic nut from a pen blank, Bone on ebony banjo bridge. 17" scale. 2 - 3 on plate PING Presision tuners, removed the center tuner. Scarfed headstock. 4 tang fork as a tailpiece. Stained with Dark Waklnut, finished with medium Waknut Danish oil. Martin banjo strings
