"Thanks UJ", I was still in Highschool when Cassius Clay first beat Sonny Liston, it was a sports afternoon, and the Physical Education Teacher (who was an American) took us on a Cross Country run in a Park near the School, upon getting out of sight from the School, he sat us down under the shade of a tree, and pulled out a little Transistor Radio and we listened to the fight, one of those moments you never forget. :-)

And Yes!, Muhammad Ali was either a Love Him or Hate him Type of person, but above all he was quite a Character. ;-D

Very cool.  I love watching Ali for his whole career.  I can still remember listening to the radio in the bedroom I shared with my brother, Jim, when Ali beat Liston.  He was the greatest. 

But when Iowa Public TV did recent programs on him - I looked at them with an old person's an old Christian's perspective and liked him less.  He was quite disrespectful and unkind and just plain mean to a lot of opponents.
