AGP #462 - “Lil Quintero”
3 String Fretless Baritone Cigar Box Guitar
Scale: 711mm/28 inches
Strings:. 040NW .026NW .018NW
Tuned: G D g & F C f
Another build using one of my small Cigar Boxes, a 190 x 140 x 35mm Quintero 25's Panatellas Cedar Cigar Box, the European Spruce Pine 330 x 55mm Block Rim is one of 4 recent recycled ring builds, the Back is 7mm Radiata Pine Ply, and the top is 32 x 12mm Laminated Cedar Strips, a Walnut Stain was applied before giving it 2 coats of Acrylic Clear Gloss, the Laminated Neck is a recent recycled scrap wood project no stain, but also given a couple of coats of Acrylic Clear Gloss.
A 5.4k Ceramic Magnet Single Coil Pickup is wired through Vol and Tone Pot’s to the Output Jack, and Grounded from the Jack to the Stainless Steel Steamer Tailpiece. :-)
