AGP #332 - “Goosenburg”

Built this $45 Lap Steel because I’m too much of a Tight Arse to part with around $3000 for a “Duesenberg Fairytale Lapsteel Guitar”, an instrument that to say the least, I have at the moment very little expertise in playing, the only two things they have in common are the Scale Length and String Gauges.
The body is constructed of course from my free supply of recycled Grey Iron Bark & Forest Red Gum Timber, which was given a couple of coats of a Brush on French Polish Lacquer, all hardware, again is of course cheap Ebay Chinee stuff, except the Aluminium Bridge Plate & Nut which I made to suit the String Spacings I wanted, which are the same as my Weissenborn Git.
A 8.3k Neck Humbucker and a 14.6k Bridge Humbucker are wired through a Tele Type Prewired 3 Way Switch, Vol & Tone to the Jack. :-)
