"Thanks Jim Morris", they didn't look that good until I cleaned them up, not sure if the oldies would approve or not???, in the land down under a Mattock is referred to as "Madmick" and the shovel is referred to as "Banjo" and is evident in song by Australia's legendary "Slim Dusty" called "The Beat of the Government Stroke" https://youtu.be/XhdiMTKFnYM

Excellent! I've got 5 year old shovels that don't look that good. I'm sure your Dad and Grandfather would heartily disapprove!! The very thought!

"Thanks Jerry Jordan", was a bit of a killer job, I think the steel was a bit tougher in the "Old Days", it was quite an effort to drill the necessary holes!!!!!!!
