Thanks 'Rooster', I haven't seen a lot of hickory available in the land of OZ, even though the area I live in does have quite a few commercial Pecan Nut plantations, maybe I'm not looking hard enough!.

Thanks 'Uncle John' & 'Gary W', #94 was an earlier build based on Seasick Steve's 4 string Morris Minor guitar, it had a very high action which put the Pickup a fair distance from the strings, this (or the Hubcaps), I think affected the sound, the 2 Hubcaps used were from a set of 4 “Chrysler Valiant" caps I have, and they will all turn up at some time in future builds.

Wow AGP - both of these look pretty cool, but I guess #94 sounding a bit crappy is a good reason to re-purpose!  Future plans to re-purpose that sweet hubcap as well?
