In the Colombian cuatro guitar  sometimes they put two smaller round soundholes below the big one, I went for the smaller soundholes in mine.

Gracias Luis! I was considering two smaller sound holes in the top portion of the gourd for a more feminine look. I love impressionist sculpture but I'm no artist!
