Finished my guitar wall. I just have to cut my guitar count to 29! The challenge is the 8 in overflow to deal with.

Thanks Jerry! You are right, it was a challenge to squeeze them all in as I was plastered against opposite wall!

Xcellent pic, lots of great guitars,.its hard to get 29 in one shot.!!

I understand.  I sometimes contemplate which 3 or 5 I could narrow it down to.  I know my top 3.   But after that it gets really hard.

I don’t know about being an interior decorator Uncle John. I was motivated to bring order from the chaos of cluttered guitars all over the floor of my music room. We’ve all seen the pictures here at CBN! LOL!

My goal: Guitars on the wall only. So if I build something new, something old goes away.  Or if something goes away off the wall, I can build a replacement. Still have some hard decisions to make to get down to 29! I’m cautiously optimistic.

You should be an interior decorator, estheticist. You would need to by Douglas for that job. I would hire you if you work cheap. Nice to gaze at. Better to sample.

Indeed. You should have stock in KastKing, HA!! -Glenn

Amen Brother! I have incrementally acquired most of the KastKing product line at this point. A lifetime supply! At the end of the day, I agree with you Glenn, it’s about making music with and for others PTL!

Yep, simple, fun, weed wacker (round) and mono fishing line are cheap and you get a ton of it per spool, easy on fingers. I like it b/c it's different and offers a diff. sound and feel, also for young kids. My callouses are years in the making but yes... and the creative side of my brain LOVES all this... imagination put to work, then to music (writing, performing) and sharing w. others. -Glenn

That is what is so fun about CBGs Glenn, plenty of room to try new things and be inspired by others! I finally made a John Nickel style CBG with a piezo and a single pole pickup with a separate out with an octave pedal. I really liked it, but the setup was way too busy. This is a simpler way to get a similar sound without all the gear. And you are spot on; the strings are easy on the fingers!

Doug, I see L.Caesar's every weekend in our church as well... ha... cool. Yep, about to post my latest via YouTube and here. Simple, primitive and fun. LOVE the easy-on-yer-fingers fishing line and weed trimmer line combo... I've got a hunk that round line and may make a chugger or 3'er like that at some point. Have made many 1 and 2 string basses w. cbg's like that, really fun and sound excellent even w. a pickup via amp. Have thought about mix/match as you mention but haven't done it yet. Enjoy bro.! -Glenn
