#20 Was a collaborative effort. My youngest daughter Willow & I build this Gittylele kit together. She wanted a Ukelele for her birthday. I asked her if she wanted me to buy her one or if she wanted to help me build one. She chose the latter. So I ordered this Gittylele kit from C.B. Gitty & picked up some glow in the dark paint. We glued everything together & she decided she wanted it to be blue with clouds on it. She helped with the blue & I took some liberties with the design, which all took a ton of coats. Not sure if you guys knew this or not, but acrylic doesn't cover great on wood without a primer or base coat. I sealed the whole thing with a few coats of Tru-Oil and gave it a light once over with 1000 grit steel wool. Then we screwed on the tuners & strung it up. She absolutely loves it.
