It's too cold in the garage to work on cigar box guitars. So I made this cigar box pre-amp at the dining room table. I used pennies to mark the input & output. I decided to use some from '69 since one is heads up & one is heads down.

i'll add my two cents. cool, lots of CBG's have the pickup going directly to the jack so this would be very convenient. What about slicing one penny in half, so it would be a single cent pre-amp?

I think so too. I use pennies in a lot of my builds, so it just made sense to do heads & tails for input & output.
