This 3 stringer is made from a decorative box with the awesome statement: "Eat More Pie". That is something we should all do, right?

Red oak neck, fretted to 24 inch scale
Cherry fingerboard
Corian nut and saddle
Mahogany tailpiece
9v battery powered pre-amp with EQ.

There are no sound holes, but it is plenty loud without them.

The string height is set to 1/8 inch at the 12th fret, so you can easily fret a little and slide a little. If you want to lower the strings, you can simply loosen the strings, pull the saddle out and carefully sand down the back of the saddle until you get the height you want.

I tested it out with my Micro Cube. It rocks everything from raunchy to mellow and back again. Having the onboard preamp really lets you tweak the sound.
