Thanks so much for the comments, John!  That design for the stand is so easy yet functional.  The only thing that I didn't put on this one that really helps stability is the little chain to keep the back support wood from slipping too far away to hold the thing upright.  I just haven't gotten it yet.... The other issue is to be sure to keep the bottom dowels loose so you can take them out when packing up to do a show - if you are carrying 15 of these things they take up a lot of space if you can't disassemble the bottom support pegs..... hope this helps!

Beautiful and functional looking build.   Nice.  And what a simple stand - which tempts me to modify and build one too.  Sure works nice with the neck through.   Like the hanger on the peg head too.  I usually have a hanger method or regret not having one.
