H - 1:35 Things had to go to crap ! Why me ? Tested the amp circuit (should have been 4 watt) and it was buggered (technical term that). After 15 minutes of not tracing the fault remembered I had a little 1/2 watt circuit. Dragged it out hastily connected it, tested it - actually not a bad volume. enough for a small bar and sensitive folky types anyhows. Taped up the inside of a tobbaco tin drilled holes for the volume and jack and padded it out with loft insulation to stop things rattling around. Hasty but it works so I will count that as job done. Just the back to put on tommorow.
