Looking at the pic of Maddog's M-1 prompted me to put this pic up of an AK47 found on Peacehaven beach about three miles from my home this Sunday morning just gone, and handed in to Brighton police station! It's a touch rusty, but maybe a drop of WD40 might sort it out! The police are trying to find the rightful owner to ascertain how it ended up in the sea, good luck with that one then!

If it's an AK-47 it probably still works, even in that state.  They're bomb-proof !

My bet would be either a London gangland weapon or one slung off a boat out at sea! A few years back just along the coast they found a headless body encased in a metal barrel full of concrete, and it's the same stretch of sea where Glenn Miller's plane supposedly went down in world war two! I wonder if Lord Lucan will wash up somewhere along here one of these days!
