Thanks for the invite Uncle John. I really don’t know what the heck I’m doing in this site - so un tech savvy. I tried to send you a message before but thought if I push “comment” it would then appear here. It didn’t. Maybe you already got my message (maybe more than once). Anyway I wanted to say Corsicana’s a cool enough place. I’m including links to Rope Walker Radio Show Corsicana episode if you’re interested. They’re kinda long (about 20 minutes) good music though.
    Thanks!

Thank you uncle John, The more I read about Dave the more of an amazing person he seemed to be.

Its always been an ambition  to play an instrument but work got in the way, now retired having been working with wood part of my life I can build and learn to play something I have created, its certainly got a grip on me.

    kind regards Chris.

Dear UJ, I am a friend and neighbor of the late Dave Lynas, could you tell me where Dave would get his slim already fretted fretboards? I miss Dave so much, we would have coffee every morning. He would help me order whatever I needed. Could you help me with these frettboards that have the fretts already installed. Thanks UJ

    Hey John,

This may be a duplicate reply, I'm refamiliarizing my self with this site, I took a long break from cbgs but now that I'm retired I have more time for building! I do tune gdgb, I've learned a lot of songs in that tuning but maybe I'll experiment soon.

                                                                     Tony Adams

  • Anthony adams

Thanks John, if you learn of tutorial on bass, let me know. Thanks and Glory to God!

  • Doug Thorsvik

Thanks for the feedback on my latest build. You posted before I completed the details, so I could not get back to your comments via the email links. The yellow parts do seem to contrast nicely with the darker wood color. The winding sound holes are intended to be the outline of my version of a violin bass body. Trying something different visually.

  • Michael Fred Johnson

Thanks for the comment Uncle John, Best thing about the bridges, easy to make and adjustable.

  • Darryl Tuttle
