Tony, to build a weed whacker bass, just make it the same way you would a regular cigar box guitar, but make the neck longer, use bass tuners & weed whacker string, it’s that easy? Scale length is 30” get a template from the Stewmac scale length calculator? String gauges are: .080 / .065 - 2 string .080 / .065 / .050 - 3 string very easy, don’t overthink it?
