history in the making is an understatement Chickenbone john and i mean that with the most respect to you sir. when your weekend is done you will look back and reflect and then you will realize what i mean by the term understatement. you will have the best of the best coming over to your town to gather and make music and gather to have fellowship and long lasting friendship and make great history that will set an example fer years to come. mark my words it will be a very memorable event that a lot of folks that are in attendance will remember all the rest of the days that they are here with us on planet earth. i wish the best and the most that you all can contain in the realm of memorable events fer each and every person that is there for the history in the making. so let it be written so let it be done. i am with you in spirit. best regards to all my great friends that will be there.

Okeley dokely all you British type persons..time for UK Cigar Box Fest no. 1!!

We had a busy night last night down at the Crossroads Blues Club here in Birmingham, so we will be there today getting rigged and ready for Saturday.

Hope to see as many as can make it....come on, this is history in the making!!!

Hey Joker , yeah Tinqui8 has some good tunes for sure - what sorta tunes you after ? the only tunes i have are whats over on my profile - i kinda like the distorted plank tune the best but thats just me !

Thanks, Al - there's many really great folks on this site and you are certainly one of the best. It just struck me that perhaps I should try busking my way down to Brum and raising funds for a ticket on the journey ? Unfortunately, we are not able to just hop on to a freight train and 'hobo' our way like the old-time blues players used to. No ruddy freight trains any more !
