me too i was crap at school , so i never went for the last 3 years lol!!- but the usual case is crap with academic stuff but good with the hands .. i choose to be good with the hands anyday of the week !!

yes Cardboard is the number one template/ Pattern making material i use also , weather it be working on wood , metal , plastic , well anything !!

more pattern making items to work with,recycled cardboard works well fer pattern making.

pattern making is something that comes with research and development,i use a clear ruler often to help keep pattern making as accurate as possible
