Comment by Andy Eight Spades CBG on November 16, 2011 at 12:50pm: storz, it would probably pick it up ok and you wouldn't get much feedback because it's pretty shielded, but you will get all the sounds from the neck so if someone knocks it while playing you will hear all of that. You're basically making the neck one big pickup. Could produce sounds you don't want. But you could always try it and let us know!

Comment by Andy Eight Spades CBG on November 15, 2011 at 7:48pm: I did my last piezo with wood glue and it worked great! I put a big dobb of glue on the inside of the lid under where the bridge is, and placed the naked piezo with the ceramic side in the glue and put a light weight on it. Didn't want all the glue to come out. Then when it was set a bit, I covered the other side with a nice layer of glue and let it dry. Sounded better and had no feedback.
